“I'll be honest, when an advert for this course popped up on Facebook I closed it immediately. I've tried enough random photography courses in the past and felt that they have over-promised and under-delivered, as well as being quite expensive.
However, when I saw the advert again I watched the preview and was very impressed by the example images being shown. As an equine photographer I have always found that doing complex selections of manes is one of the hardest things to achieve, so I became a little more tempted by the course. Checking the price (which was very reasonable) I decided that even if it was only average then I wouldn't have lost much. So I bought the course.
What a good decision that was! This course is superb. Aga covers the basic approaches to tackling and perfecting different techniques in a logical and sensible order over 9 separate lessons, and the pacing of the instruction in each course is just right. Too many courses have presenters who simply speak too quickly. Aga speaks in a very steady, measured fashion which to me is ideal to follow.
The course includes sample images and some free hair brushes as a bonus and these work beautifully. Access to the course expires after a year which some people don't like, but come on ...! After a year you will have had time to perfect your technique that you shouldn't need the course any more, and it is so reasonably priced in the first place that if you really need longer than a year then buy it a second time.
I regard myself as a pretty experienced equine photographer and editor, but this course taught me so much.
I'm now going to go and examine Aga's other courses. Highly recommended.”
